Pet Rescues of the Week 6
Whitney

Whitney is a special treat to have around. She is quite attentive, yet mellow. When I went to visit her, there was a lot going on and several volunteers around her, so she was a bit nervous. I was not able to get as much one on one time with her, as she was too busy watching everyone. I know that Ms. Whitney loves long walks and to play with other dogs; she would make a great friend for a single dog home. She does not do well with cats, so I would only suggest other canines. Whitney is a two-year old American Pit Bull/Terrier mix who is looking for a home to feel safe in. She has been at JARM since December 2016, so she is ready when you are! Stop by and make her feel loved.

Billie
Pet Rescues of the Week 6
Billie

Billie is one fantastic kitten! He loves to play with wand toys and be cuddled like a baby. He enjoys exploring and will often show his silly side when he figures out something new. The other day he found his tail and tried hard to capture it! When I walked in the kitty room, he was so cute lying all cuddled up with a pillow in his bed. I immediately went to pet him and he just followed my hand around wanting more. Billie is a four-month old kitten who is waiting patiently to meet his fur-ever family.

While I was recording the short video, he couldn’t stop purring with a purr that was so loud, you could probably hear the love he has to offer in the next room. This precious kitty will be at PAL waiting for you to visit.

Raven

Raven

Raven is another dog who has a story to tell. This four-year old beauty was adopted three years ago from Palmetto Animal League. Then last month Beaufort County Animal Services found her abandoned by her owners and she was returned to the shelter. When I came to visit her, she was in the yard playing with fellow Pet of the Week Dozer. She gets along well with other dogs, loves to play, and even likes cats. She is a gentle girl, but likes to play when you are ready. Raven is house trained and is currently learning to sit upon command. She does like to fetch occasionally, but be ready to grab the ball from her; she doesn’t really return it to you. She has a beautiful thick black coat and my guess is that she would love to be groomed and cuddled with. Stop by PAL to see her, you will surely be greeted with a smile and tail wag.
