Satin

Satin is a fun dog to be around. While she doesn’t really play fetch, she will follow you around. She seems to be the type of doggie who just wants love and attention. She is a mild 3 ½-year-old Bulldog mix who loves to cuddle.

From what I was told she is mildly heartworm positive so she is on what’s called a slow kill method, and will need to continue her Heartguard each month.

Satin was seized by animal control in January 2017 with her puppy. Since then, her only puppy was adopted so she is really feeling lonely and needs a steady mom and dad to call family. Satin is dog-friendly, which means she gets along well with other dogs, however, she is NOT cat-friendly. If nothing else I know she would appreciate you coming by the shelter to sit and pet her, that’s really all she wanted me to do while I was there. They even had a chair waiting for me.

Lana

Lana is a very shy kitty. She is one-year old domestic short hair and has been at the shelter since June 2017. She was brought in by Beaufort County Animal Control with one kitten, who has since been adopted. When she was brought out of her crate, it looked like she was looking for her baby. When she was picked up, she buried her little head under the hair and started purring against her neck.

When I held her, she gave me a sense of comfort, instant relaxation. Makes me wonder if there is training for a “service cat,” because she would fit the criteria! Come by and show her some love and receive some cuddles.

Elsie

Elsie

Elsie is an extremely laid-back doggie. She is a year and a half old and came to Palmetto Animal League as a stray found in Hardeeville in July. Speaking with the staff, they believe she is house trained because she hasn’t used the bathroom in her crate or living area once. She does do very well with other dogs in the yard, it’s entertaining to watch them play. When Elsie is playing outside by herself, she enjoys squeaky toys. I noticed she was a bit shy and really wanted to chill, but she has her playful moments too.

She is what you would want your typical house pet to be. Elsie will love you, adore you, kiss you, play with you, and cuddle with you. I can’t think of another trait to ask for.

Faith

When I walked into the room Faith was sitting in a tin nailed up against the wall just staring at the door. It was the cutest thing I have seen a kitty cat do! When I walked up to her she immediately put her face up to mine and gave me a kiss. I fell in love. I got some cute pictures and even got three perfect videos of her showing her special personality.

I wish I could show all three. Elsie put her front paw on my shoulder to test the stability, then leaped onto my shoulder, walked around to my back, and sat on my neck. She just sat there. I backed up to the tin against the wall and she leaped right back into it. She is certainly someone’s ideal cat.

She cuddles, she paws and plays, she purrs, and she is adorable!

Faith is two years old with a long happy life ahead of her. Wouldn’t you like to be a part of that life? She has been living at PAL since July 2017 and is ready for a fur-ever home!
