Alzheimer's is not just a disease of old age. Many people with early onset of Alzheimer's are in their 40's and 50's. All forms of dementia cause an interference with the performance and enjoyment of daily life activities and some can be reversed or cured, but Alzheimer’s has no cure and, although there are medications to ease the symptoms, it is not reversible.
